Sadly, it is easier to quickly assume and fail to listen to understand. When tutoring students, questions will be the greater tool in helping them. The ability to learn about each student, individually, and accumulate insight to provide the best assistance must be at the forefront of any educator's mind, including parents, guardians, family members, etc. A student has plenty to say when provided the opportunity to be heard. The simple bridge to hearing them is questions that inquire about their thoughts and give care to inspire hope.
